Robert Reppel is the CTO of TwoTonic Labs. He loves that "We Built This!" feeling and wants more of it. To that end, his main interest is understanding the evolution of software systems over time and the cultures and organizational structures which make it happen.
He specializes in helping organizations to innovate and achieve faster turnaround for new product development while leveraging or replacing legacy assets. He has built software for more than 25 years and currently works in Go, NodeJS, React/Redux, Kubernetes and Firebase.
He has worn many hats over time, as developer, architect, development manager, entrepreneur and agile practitioner, in companies from startups to large multinationals.
However, in his actual day-to-day work he usually winds up as what could be best described as a kind of project janitor.
