Ruth Malan began working on software architecture and design in the Software Technology Lab at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories.
She then moved to HP’s Software Initiative, to create an architecture consulting team, working with HP product architects and teams across HP’s (then) medical products, test and measurement and various printer and compute businesses.
Ruth has been a senior architecture consultant at Bredemeyer Consulting for the past 20 years. She was the winner of the 2017 Linda M. Northrop Software Architecture Award for her contributions to the software architecture field.
