We're lucky to have Oli Guei running a hands-on tutorial on Django. In this session he'll:

• Explain key Django concepts

• Help us work through some informative exercises

• Guide us to build a simple but interesting web application

This tutorial will be suitable for anyone with basic Python, no previous experience with Django is necessary.

To get the most of this tutorial you should bring along a laptop with Python (version 3.5 or later) and Django (version 1.11 or later). If you need help installing these, or are unsure what these are, please arrive early to get started before the main tutorial starts at 7pm.

Oli Guei

Oli began as a web designer back at school with Photoshop/Dreamweaver. He started writing server-side code with PHP and CodeIgniter before moving onto Python and Django when it was in version 1.5.
