April Django Meetup

Tuesday, 10th April at CodeNode, London

This meetup was organised by London Django Meetup Group in April 2018

Dan will give us a summary of how Thread is using this app from PyPI.

Freelancing (and Contracting) for Developers

An open and candid talk about being self employed as a software developer. This talk will cover both money and soft skills. How much should I charge? How do I get my first client? My second client? Do I need a contract? How do I dump I client? How do I raise my rates? I will be opening discussing my rates and experiences. For this reason the talk will be held under the Chatham House Rule and will not be recorded.

Adam Charnock

Adam Charnock has been a freelancer for over 10 years and in that time has worked with Twitter, The New York Public Library, The Royal Navy, and numerous startups. He is a full stack developer specialising in Python and Django, with a passion for DevOps. He specialises in taking a project from initial concept through to deployment.
