Join this session to better understand how DevSecOps teams are applying lessons from W. Edwards Deming (circa 1982) and Gene Kim (circa 2013) to improve their ability to respond to new business requirements and cyber risks within their software development lifecycle.



Stefania Chaplin

Stefania Chaplin is EMEA's Solution Architect at Secure Code Warrior. Her experience within Cybersecurity, DevSecOps and OSS governance means she's helped countless customers understand and implement security throughout their SDLC. As a python developer at heart, Stefania is always itching to improve efficiency wherever she goes by writing scripts to automate processes.

Stefania is passionate about speaking about DevSecOps and cybersecurity, and has spoken at many conferences and meetups across Europe including; JavaZone in Norway, JFokus in Sweden and Cloud Expo, Women of Silicon Roundabout and Women in DevOps in London.

Most recently, Stefania has been speaking at many virtual events on publications such as DZone and on the Secure Code Warrior Brighttalk.

Yan Cui

Yan is an experienced engineer who has run production workload at scale in AWS for nearly 10 years. He has been an architect and principal engineer with a variety of industries ranging from banking, e-commerce, sports streaming to mobile gaming. He has worked extensively with AWS Lambda in production, and has been helping various UK clients adopt AWS and serverless as an independent consultant.

Derya Sezen

Derya, also knows as Dorian, is working in Software Industry from 2003. He has been geeky with computers at age 13 and began programming with GW-Basic at that age. He jumped into Linux after 1999 and gained IBM Scholar Challenge 2002 with his Linux Embedded Security Device.

He is holding a Bachelor degree on Computer Engineering from Galatasaray University, M.Sc. System and Control Engineering from Bogazici University and MBA from Heriot-Watt University.

He has worked as Solution Architect and System Administrator at Turkcell Superonline, Technology Director at Credit Europe Bank and CTO at Ciceksepeti. He is currently working as Cloud and DevOps Consultant at kloia where he was one of the founder.
