This session will outline the journey they have been on with their innovation arm, Ventures; the challenges of introducing Power BI across the group and into the General Practices, the innovative ways the tools and data are being used to support the health planners and the patient journey, and a detailed look at the Power BI Report that’s been turning heads across the sector both in New Zealand and Australia, and was built here in the UK!
Narius Patel
Narius is an independent BI Consultant specialising in the Microsoft BI stack; he has had a keen interest in Power BI since it first launched in 2013. At that time he became IMGROUP / Hitachi’s resident Power BI expert giving courses and demos to Microsoft clients in London and at Microsoft in Reading. He is an active member of the “Power BI Advisors” Microsoft Yammer group and the online Power BI Community, and was recently awarded second place in the Microsoft Power BI “Year in Review” data journalism contest for his entry “Missing Migrants”, which remains a featured item in the Microsoft Power BI Data Stories Gallery. He is currently working with a New Zealand Primary Health Care organisation that represents 100 General Practices and over 400K patients in the Midland region of North Island.
