How I Became a Data Scientist

She will talk about applications using web data (e.g. The UK Online Gender Audit 2018: audit of gender within the UK's online environment; Using web content to better understand business activities). The presentation will focus on the main approaches and tools she is using to get valuable, novel insights from data and will also include some of the data challenges, results, and data's potential.

Ana-Maria Huluba

Ana-Maria Huluba, data scientist at Glass. She is interested in using web data to generate valuable insights by using and combining different statistical and analytical methods with data visualization. Recently, one of her analysis was published at Heliyon (https://bit.ly/2CbfURq).
