Meet up

Automated testing using Specflow and Selenium

Tuesday, 26th March at CodeNode, London

This meetup was organised by The London Selenium Meetup in March 2019

Automated testing using Specflow and Selenium

This will be the first meetup of the London Selenium meetup group with Alan Hemmings giving a talk (demonstration with hand on coding) on writing automated tests using Gherkin and Selenium. While the demo will be in C# the concepts apply to testing in any language and the requirement examples will be provided in Gherkin. We will walk through a code example of writing an automated test that tests the following acceptance criteria. A very brief introduction to Gherkin syntax if you've not seen it before, followed by writing the actual code that binds the the requirement to user steps taken on a website. The code walk-through and brief demo will take 40 minutes, followed by lightning talks if anyone has any shout-outs, then head off to the pub so that we can get to know each other, find out what we're all using.
