First up will be Adam Lenander who will be presenting a talk on how to approach and structure change in large organisations when faced with with differing client needs and expectations.
Adam is a Lean/Agile practitioner with two decades of experience in a range of industries in addition to more recent work in financial services. Change activities have included business, technology and organisational change through the application of systems thinking, lean process implementation and use of knowledge transfer and coaching.
Next we'll hear from Richard James who will be sharing Nationwide's Digital Transformation journey. 2 years in to the journey, he will share some of our successes and a lot of their failures, as well as the hurdles ahead. The aim in sharing this story so far is to help accelerate those either on or planning their own transformation and give a heads-up for potential challenges.
Richard is the Head of Digital Technology & Engineering for Nationwide, where he leads work on Public Cloud and DevOps adoption, alongside driving the introduction of Scaled Agile and growing Nationwide’s internal Engineering community. Richard has been with Nationwide for five years and has held several leadership roles covering transformational change for Mortgages, Payments and Open Banking. Prior to joining Nationwide, Richard spent 12 years with Accenture with a focus on shaping and delivering large-scale technology programmes across a range of industries.
