Jon Smart and Scrum Event present: Business Agility and Continuous Compliance
Existing risk and compliance controls are based on historic data and tick box activity which no longer works. With the general availability of Cloud solutions, companies are struggling to maintain the learning pace required to think outside the box and get into the mind-set of a Hacker. There is not enough time and not enough people to learn and mitigate the risks of emerging technologies and cloud systems. Large organisations need to adapt to more collaborative ways of working, with Product and multi-disciplinary safety teams working together, addressing weaknesses, discovering new potential vulnerabilities and co-creating risk mitigation stories in the Product backlog. Learning outcomes: We'll discuss how organisations can move into this new way of working by following some patterns that we have successfully tested in a number of large financial institutions. We will also show how psychological safety enables successful continuous compliance and intelligent controls.
