You may have already heard of GraalVM Native Image, but in this session, we are going to look at how we can use Native Image to build a Spring Boot application that using a fraction of the resources of a traditional Spring application – with the added advantage that starts super-fast.

During the session we will learn what GraalVM Native Image is, we will see how we can build an application using it and then we will see how we can deploy it to a K8s cluster in the cloud. This will let us to see how the performance and resource footprint of the Native Image application compares with running it on OpenJDK.
