Meet up

Angularforms and Geospatial Data MongoDB

Wednesday, 30th April at Skills Matter, London

This meetup was organised by Mean Stack in April 2014

Are you interested in Forms Angular? A simple framework built on top of the MEAN Stack (with a little Twitter Bootstrap and Mongoose thrown in for good measure) that enables you to generate forms super quickly. At its simplest it takes a mongoose schema and generates a form, complete with REST routing and bindings. Would you like to know how to work with GeoSpatial data and MongoDB all this related to the MEAN Stack and put together a RESTful API?

Geospatial data in the MEAN Stack

The talk will walk through the audience on how to use geospatial data with MongoDB and how to build the information around the MEAN stack

Tamas Piros

Tamas worked as a software engineer, professional services consultant for a satellite communications firm and currently he is a technical trainer at a NoSQL company. He’s a JavaScript hobbyist with a great admiration for the MEAN stack. He is also authoring a book on AngularJS.

Using the Mean Stack to remove CRUD

In this talk I show how I have used the MEAN stack to build forms-angular, a framework that massively reduces the amount of CRUD boilerplate in web applications, how to use forms-angular in a few common ways and how to extend it where necessary.

Mark Chapman

Mark has been a developer for over 25 years, mostly writing software for adult social care providers. Since he sold his last business in 2009 he has been concentrating on open source software and has set up a social enterprise, ReallyCare CIC to promote the use of open source, open data formats and open data in adult social care.
