Intern 2; Debugging mobile websites; London Ajax October Meetup

Thursday, 9th October at Skills Matter, London

This meetup was organised by London HalfStack in October 2014

Join London Ajax User group this month for two talks by Nick Nisi on Intern 2, and Matt Zeunert who will talk about Debugging mobile websites.

Intern 2

Intern, the popular open source JavaScript testing stack, was recently updated to greatly simplify the challenges encountered when testing against Selenium servers.

This talk will give an overview of Intern, highlight some of the improvements with Intern 2, and also talk through patterns for creating code that is easier to test.

Nick Nisi

Nick is a Software Engineer and instructor at SitePen, working remotely from Omaha, Nebraska. He is also co-organizer of NebraskaJS and Beer && Code.

Debugging Mobile Websites

Over the last few years new tools have become available to make testing and debugging mobile websites easier.

This talk will focus on using Chrome's built-in developer tools to emulate device properties and then demonstrate how to use phone simulators and remote debugging.

Matt Zeunert

Matt is an independent front-end developer based in London. He works on tools that help developers understand complex apps and blogs about code readability. Before focussing on building developer tools he worked as a contractor helping different companies make great JavaScript apps.
