This evening there will be 3 talks : Redis is the answer, what's the question, Ruby Magic and Test Bisection with RSpec.

Garry Shutler

Garry Shutler is a code samurai from Nottingham, living and working in London. Garry specialises in being a generalist. He has a mohican. He likes terseness.

Ruby Magic

As a child, Andrew McDonough loved magic. One of the best Christmas presents he ever received was a magic set. As an adult, Andrew prefers to perform magic using Ruby.

In this talk, he will attempt an array of traditional magic tricks, using only IRB.

Andrew McDonough

Andrew has been writing software professionally for 15 years. He cofounded Tribesports, a sports brand and vertically-integrated ecommerce company. These days, he works as a consultant CTO and technical advisor to several London-based startups. In his spare time, he organises Techrunners, a running group for people working in the technology industry.

Test Bisection with RSpec

Simon will talk about a useful technique for debugging order-dependent test failures, and introduce an upcoming feature in RSpec that automates it.

Simon Coffey

A multi-purpose developer/engineer working mostly with Ruby these days, but with experience in C++, C#, Prolog, and an assortment of others, including a little bit of Clojure dabbling.
