Adam is a software engineer with a deep love for functional programming and Haskell.
Adam is also the co-author and current maintainer of Fay, the Haskell to JavaScript compiler.
Adam's undergraduate degree started with functional programming in Lisp. It was then that he discovered an increasing interest in Haskell and he soon realized that it is a very elegant and robust language for general purpose programming: Learning Haskell has probably been the most enjoyable thing Adam has done in programming.
Adam currently works as a web developer at Silk and has been doing web development for about ten years, mostly freelance work. He has spent a lot of time investigating the best way to build web applications in several languages and as it stands he thinks Haskell and its ecosystem has the most potential for writing good software.
