The Kubernetes eco-system is evolving with new projects designed directly around Kubernetes. In this talk, Ben will introduce how to run Kubernetes with CRI (Container Runtime Interface) allowing you to use ContainerD, CRI-O and other container runtimes.
Before containers can launch, they need to be built. Ben will look at how other Container Builders are evolving and the benefits they bring.
In the end, attendees will see the value of Kubernetes introducing a Container Runtime Interface and open build systems. Will this lead to us not having a container runtime at all?
