In front-end development, the modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries use Components. Component based Architecture allows you to structure your applications into modular components that are small, configurable, have single responsibility, provide encapsulation, are reusable and are easier to maintain. During this Lightning Talk you will learn about Custom Elements, Shadow Dom, HTML Templates and HTML Imports, which are the set of features that make Web Components possible. The Angular team have been working on going further than providing component modularity and encapsulation. Angular Elements are Angular Components packaged as custom elements. It is a new feature that came out in Angular 6. Ashnita will share with you her understanding of how Angular Elements work.
