This talk will explore the application of denotational design to geometry and how it leads to elegant implementation.

This will be similar in style to Conal Elliott's talks on denotational design. David will define some geometric primitives and look at the relationships of equality and containment between them. Then he'll expand on that to define approximate equality and approximate containment. attendees will learn a bit about geometry, acquire an appreciation for the utility of denotational design, and hopefully have fun along the way.
