In this meetup Meredydd will be talking about Anvil, a platform for building full-stack web apps with nothing but Python.
Building for the web is complicated and error-prone – you need to know five different languages and loads of frameworks just to get started. Anvil lets you do it all with nothing but Python. Design your page visually, write your browser-side and server-side code in Python, and even set up a database in seconds! In this talk, Meredydd will walk us through how Anvil works, talk about what it does under the bonnet, and discuss the challenges of designing a programming system that’s easy to use and still powerful enough for seasoned professionals.
