Tech meets Aristotle: The Art and Craft of Public Speaking

7th January 2019 in London at CodeNode

This SkillsCast was filmed at Tech meets Aristotle: The Art and Craft of Public Speaking

We live in a digital age where face to face interactions are less common - and more prized. Speeches therefore, arguably matter more than ever. They have changed the course of history and are still our preferred mode of communication whenever we have something important to say or are marking a momentous occasion. Our approach to them has changed, but the essentials remain the same: a speaker, a platform and an audience.  Over this session, we will explore the ancient principles that still govern oratory and how you can apply them, as everyone from Aristotle to Obama has, to communicate with confidence and make an impact.
