Our innovation lab team recently released the keptn (www.keptn.sh) – an open source framework for cloud native delivery and automated operations. Keptn now supports multi-stage delivery pipelines with automated quality gates, dark/shadow/canary/blue/green deployments and auto-remediation of container-based services on Kubernetes. In this talk, I explain WHY we built keptn, HOW we implemented it (Event-Driven Architecture based on knative) and show HOW it works. We still have ways to go – but for this, we need the Cloud Native Community. Our goal is to contribute it to CNCF – and this presentation will get us a step closer to this goal
