Inspired by a love of rainbows and silly tech projects, Jo decided to make her own first wearable tech - a wedding dress full of lights that could be controlled by tweets from her friends and family! During this talk you will learn about the tech Jo used (suitable for absolute beginners), the mistakes she made and the lessons she learnt. From using the Twitter API, writing her own API, coding for an Arduino and wiring the whole thing up to the worst bit - THE SEWING. Jo will share the message that it is ok to make mistakes, you all do! If you keep trying you can make something magical!
