As the web platform grew and single page apps emerged (where browsers now handle more of the processing), the complexity of the web apps you can build also grew. To build more memory efficient and performant apps, User Interface (UI) Engineers now really need to understand the choice of the data structures and algorithms used. In this talk you will learn about the basics of Algorithm runtime complexity, Big O Notation, some of the popular data structures for building User Interfaces, and why understanding these are critical for thinking and solving the unique problems you encounter as UI engineers.
