What Did that Container Cost and Why Should I Care?

7th August 2019 in London at CodeNode

There are 1 other SkillsCast available from Meetup on Container Costs, Open Tracing, Istio, OKE and community projects on Kubernetes

As more and more workloads move to the cloud, approximating the cost of those workloads becomes an increasingly difficult task. Attendees will learn how and why the cost of operating containers in public cloud varies over time and best practices to normalize that variance. Lastly, the talk will conclude with a discussion around why normalization of container costs matter heading into the future. This talk will focus on some detail of AWS billing data but will be generally applicable to all public cloud providers.
