Using the new 3.0 Java driver as the example, we'll look at some of the new interfaces and design decisions that are helping shape these next generation of drivers.
In the second part of the talk we go reactive and introduce the new asynchronous java driver. We'll look at some of the challenges going asynchronous on the JVM and how this new driver is being used as the foundation for a new Reactive Stream Driver and a new Scala Driver.

In a previous life Ross was a technical architect at Streetlife and a tech lead at Europe's biggest commercial radio owner Global Radio.
