Glen will look at current state-of-the-art dependency management across the popular software platforms, and what problems these can still lead to. Dependency hell is an actual problem causing us to approach sharing software in very non-optimal ways.
Whenever he's talked to people about this stuff, it seems that many have internalized the problems of their current approach, and don't realise that better alternatives may exist. He hopes to open your eyes to the possibilities of other ways of doing things, and to discuss what advantages they bring and what tradeoffs you need to make to use them. Please bring an open mind!
